I have Speeder and Speeder Lite out on the Android Market today. Speeder is a game where you use the phone's ability to detect it's tilt to control a car on the screen that you drive down the road avoiding obstacles and collecting powerups so you can score as many points as possible. The full version releases with 10 levels in each of 3 different difficulties as well as a continuous mode for each difficulty that creates a new random road for each time you play. The Lite version comes with 3 levels in each difficulty and just the Easy (6-Lane) continuous mode.
I should also mention that I have several of my games listed on the Amazon Appstore right now as well. Galaxy Destroyer, Orbital Defense and Wordel can all be found over there as well for the same price as you can find them on the Android Market. Here is the link to my apps or you can find it on the left sidebar under Additional Links.
So I'm still working on Speeder, right now I'm looking at getting it finished by the end of the month. Right now I'm mostly writing new levels for it and continuing testing, though I also need to finalize the continuous play mode. I have it out for testing with a friend of mine but I'm having trouble finding more testers right now, so that's unfortunate but I'll work it out.
I think it's a fun game right now, I hope you do too!
I have received some e-mail regarding issues with the high score system, so I made a few changes to it and Wordel and Wordel Lite 1.0.1 are out on the Market. I've removed the 'Cancel' button in order to avoid hitting that by mistake and not recording your high score, now no matter what something will be recorded for your high score, even if it is a blank entry. I also added a line to the high score dialog that tells you your final score so you know what you are saving.
So I've been working on my next game, Speeder, for a while here. It is coming along well. It will be a top-down driving game where you use phone tilt to move your car left or right on the road, avoiding other cars and obstacles and collecting powerups to go faster and score more points. I like it so far and I think you will too.
So in working on my new game today I realized how to fix an issue I had with anti-aliasing in some of my earlier games. I've updated those games and put the updates out on the Market. Text should look a lot better in these games now.
I have released my word game, Wordel out onto the Android Market. The full version is $1.50 and the lite version is free but ad supported. The free version is also limited in that it only contains the 3 minute single board (1 and 5 minutes games are also in the full version) and the clear game mode. Continuous gameplay mode is in the full version as well.
Here are the QR codes for the game:
Just a small update for Orbital Defense, there was an update to the AdMob libraries I needed to put out so I made a few minor fixes as well. Both ad-supported and pay version are updated.
Work on my word game, Wordel, is coming along well, I have it out testing with people to see what they think and find out if there are any big outstanding bugs I need to look at. So far so good but we'll see.
No updates for a few weeks, but I've been hard at work on a new game, a word game this time. I think it is coming together nicely and hopefully I'll be able to have something out in early January.
I may work on some more levels for Galaxy Destroyer in the next few weeks as well, we'll see how that goes. If I add more I'd like to add a bunch so hopefully I can have some put together soon.
Other then that, not much else to say, I hope things continue to go well in the new year.
New version of these out, just a simple bug fix release, I had a few crashes come in yesterday that I wanted to get too right away. They looked to be pretty edge case timing issues, but one crash is already too many.
